Who are the targets of the propaganda Submit your work by the 2nd of February and be prepared to analyze your poster.
For example:

1. Which side created this poster?
2. Why use an image of a woman?

4. Why is she holding a sword?
Is this image effective? Would a different image be more effective in the stated purpose of the poster?
What is the video trying to convey?

In-class discussion: Who is the intended target of the video and why? What images and symbols are seen here? Is this similar to the one yesterday by the Nazis? List the similarities and differences.

Be prepared to do a breakdown analysis powerpoint presentation in class, along the lines of Tuesday's.
Stay tuned this weekend's post where I will break down the propaganda of Star Wars to show you an example of this type of analysis. There we will look at the age old question - was the Empire really the good guys.
